Blade & Soul is a Korean MMORPG, art direction by Hyung Tae Kim (War of Genesis/Magna Carta). The named should be changed into Blade in MY soul because the instant I saw all those trailers and gameplay videos, I knew I was doomed. I WANNA COSPLAY EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THOSE CHARACTERS, HTK HAS DONE IT AGAIN. Despite being such a fan of his artwork, huge thighs and scary patterns and holes in places that shouldn't be, I've only cosplayed one of his characters. She was a giant Christmas tree and was mute.(hint : Maya from Magna Carta)
I think I tried forming a Magna Carta group about 2 times already but it always never really worked out right. Mostly because I chicken out at the fact that more than 2 people in a region are gonna be doing HTK which means all hell will break loose. But BLADE & SOUL is so freaking gorgeous IDE!! For the first time, the 3D conversion of his artwork is successful and looks pretty damn smashing!! I hope to play this game as soon as it releases here or anywhere, but looking at my internet connection I highly doubt it'll happen.
I'm not even sure what I'm babbling about, I just needed to put my HTK frustration into a ball of DA journal. I really hope I cosplay at least 3 HTK characters in my cosplay lifetime.
