I only went for Day 2 because I screwed up my schedule by booking tickets for Sound of Music on Saturday, but all is well!

All thanks to the YJ group at FANIME 2011. Saw them on Ackson's video over here [link] and I thought they were sooooo awesome.
It's times like these where I remember why I cosplay, being able to spazz and fangirl over fucking nice cosplay!
I seriously wish I was over at US to see this group, haven't been this excited since...i don't know when.

I don't usually like to talk about cosplay plans but I feel this needs a post of its own.

Blade & Soul is a Korean MMORPG, art direction by Hyung Tae Kim (War of Genesis/Magna Carta). The named should be changed into Blade in MY soul because the instant I saw all those trailers and gameplay videos, I knew I was doomed. I WANNA COSPLAY EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THOSE CHARACTERS, HTK HAS DONE IT AGAIN. Despite being such a fan of his artwork, huge thighs and scary patterns and holes in places that shouldn't be, I've only cosplayed one of his characters. She was a giant Christmas tree and was mute.(hint : Maya from Magna Carta)

I think I tried forming a Magna Carta group about 2 times already but it always never really worked out right. Mostly because I chicken out at the fact that more than 2 people in a region are gonna be doing HTK which means all hell will break loose. But BLADE & SOUL is so freaking gorgeous IDE!! For the first time, the 3D conversion of his artwork is successful and looks pretty damn smashing!! I hope to play this game as soon as it releases here or anywhere, but looking at my internet connection I highly doubt it'll happen.

I'm not even sure what I'm babbling about, I just needed to put my HTK frustration into a ball of DA journal. I really hope I cosplay at least 3 HTK characters in my cosplay lifetime.

It's been awhile since my last journal entry, just gonna recap on what has been happening in my cosplay life

Comic Fiesta 2010
So right after AFA , I had 2 cosplays to be complete for CF. Had an amazing group for both days, and the photos really make me happy!
Did GANTZ on the 1st day with ~smokeswirls, ~sunandpuppet, ~Olafyen and ~mintochuu! Totally in love with this manga, so intense and exciting! Shots taken by ~heroinekpk were pretty darn fantastic as well~




On Day 2, I had an amazing Kuroshitsuji Circus group with ~EnigmaticWind,~smokeswirls,~sunandpuppet, ~Olafyen,~teruteru-bozu and of course the Singapore kaki ~Astellecia,~Ayatenshi and *raistlin03!
We didn't hang around the event much since it was so cramped up, and we'll probably never get another chance to shoot.

AFA X was full of mishaps and flight misses but having to meet friends, both old and new, cosplaying with ~Astellecia again and meeting -aira-, KANAME☆ and *BlackMageAlodia MADE IT ALL FUCKING WORTH IT!!

Arrived 1 hour late at the airport and had to buy another expensive flight ticket again was seriously a bitch. I was about to flip some tables and just go home, but since I already spent so much I might as well go. Arrived at about 3pm-ish at the event and all the toilets were full, ~EnigmaticWind helped me change into my costume AT THE STAIRWAY. Met 2 really epic people that I never thought I would meet! and it was great seeing you there! Cosplayed TTGL anti-spiral Nia on day 1. This costume has been rotting in my closet for about a year and figured it would be a waste since *JialingPan, ~teruteru-bozu and ~EnigmaticWind painstakingly cut and glued all those lines on me!




Day 2 was FANTASTIC tho!! Brought out my super old 2005 costume and with the awesome help of kazeki miracles aka ~teruteru-bozu ~jaroldsng ~EnigmaticWind and ~froggyprince we actually managed to finish reblinging my Seth costume in 2 weekends! ILU GUYS COULDN'T HAVE DONE IT WITHOUT U ALL!! Needed 3 people to help get me into costume too lol Thanks ~hiyuki for lending your beautiful Mirka costume to Skye so she could cosplay with me! and for Daniel who brough home the Seth weapons <3

KANAME is forever smexy, was hoping he'd cos gar!Simon again hurhur *BlackMageAlodia is such a sweetheart and gorgeous irl! Come over to Malaysia and I'll bring you around! Also met Katsu from ANGELA (omfg I teared when Atsuko sang Seperation and Peace of mind, FAFNER I WILL COSPLAY YOU SOON!! LET'S DO IT ~Astellecia !!)

Pretty epic Sunday with ~blurscrib,~angie0-0 and Devilenne! From blur's awesomely ghetto underwater casing to Devilenne pushing our heads down. I think next time we should strap out legs down with bricks or something heh My skirt kept pushing me up every 5 seconds, I couldn't even drown if I wanted to D: Overall a VERY FUN experience coz I love playing in the water. Had an amazing weekend with and . They came all the way up from Singapore just to see me, I'm so touched! Not only that ~shiroin did 2 amazing shoots for me!

Black★Rock Shooter
Travelled out of the way to this abandoned factory, which I had to call 5 different site managers for. ~Astellecia did my make up and directed the shoot while ~keromilk,~EnigmaticWind and ~jaroldsng risked late curfews and a flu for Megu and I! Transporting a giant cannon + a giant scythe is a bitch!! All went well, except for the fact ~shiroin's foot went into a ditch. Despite that he continued to shoot for us ILU~shiroin YOU ARE THE SHIZ!!







Zone-00
After the long BRS shoot night, we had to wake up early the next morning for a 2nd shoot! This one has been on ~Astellecia and my list of -reshoot cosplays- for a long time We had an awesome team last time but both of us figured we didn't do justice to the characters Got some gorgeous photos and the location was so befitting! Full House, Sunway Pyramid was awesome enough to let us shoot at the restaurant.
